Privacy Policy · WildBone Outdoors LLC · effective October 14, 2026
UAS-IQ has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. We do not sell your information, and we do not receive it: WildBone Outdoors has no server that collects anything from the app. Your missions, flight records and logbook are stored on your phone. To show live information, the app does send a map position or a search to the public services listed below, and those services see that request.
To show the airspace, restrictions, weather and air traffic for a spot, the app sends that spot's coordinates (or, for the TFR list, no location at all) to:
If you type an address to find a job site, the address you type is sent to the U.S. Census Bureau geocoder (privacy) and, if needed, OpenStreetMap Nominatim (privacy).
None of these requests include your name, an account or a device ID. Like any web server, these services can see your internet (IP) address and may keep ordinary server logs under their own policies, linked above. We do not control those logs.
The app asks for your phone's location to center the map, read the airspace where you stand, and, while a flight record is open, save your phone's position about every 10 seconds into that record. That track is stored only on your phone. It is where you stood, not the drone's flight path. You can turn location off in Settings and type an address or use the map instead.
Missions, hazards, pins, flight records, notes, incidents, authorizations you record, your pilot and aircraft details, and the logbook are stored only on your phone. They leave it only when you share a PDF report yourself, to whoever you choose.
Records stay on your phone until you delete them. Logbook › Clear all stored data (tap twice) deletes everything UAS-IQ has stored on the phone. Deleting the app also deletes it. Copies may still exist in your own iPhone or iCloud backups, and in any PDF reports you already shared; those are under your control, not ours.
This website (uas-iq.com) is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs. The web version of the app passes the FAA TFR, airport weather and adsb.lol requests through Netlify so a browser can reach them, and loads the map library from unpkg.com. The iPhone app calls those services directly and carries its own map library.
The authorization buttons open FAA-approved LAANC apps in the App Store, or FAA DroneZone. Those are run by other companies and by the FAA, under their own privacy policies.
UAS-IQ does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Questions: contact@wildboneoutdoors.net
